Acidovorax avenae subsp citrulli - BFB, Fruit blotch on Cucurbits

This test requires untreated seeds. In this test, we extract the pathogen from ultra-small sub-samples and plate on selective media P-278. Bacteria from the culture plates are tested by Bio-PCR method using our highly specific and sensitive real-time PCR primers. Although, this test is completed in 3 days, infections may not be detected when infection levels are low or when bacteria can not be extracted from the seeds.
