Plant Pathologist
California Seed and Plant Lab is looking for a Plant Pathologist in its plant health testing department. This is a full time position. The duties include diagnosing infections in plants, screening of plant varieties for resistance to plant pathogens and conducting research trials. Candidate should have knowledge of pathology (general mycology, bacteriology and virology) and experience in diagnostic techniques including isolations, microscopy, ELISA and PCR. Minimum education required is MS in plant pathology or related discipline. Salary depends upon experience. Our benefit package includes vacation, holidays, health insurance and retirement plans.
