Guide to collection and shipping a sample
1. Draw a representative samples. (For large lots, multiple samples may be tested)
2. The seeds should be untreated.
3. Quantity of seeds should be enough for the tests requested. (we can advise you if same seeds can be used for multiple tests). For bacterial fruit blotch grow out, 10% extra seeds should be supplied to account for low germination.
4. Seeds should be securely packed and labeled with lot number.
5. Prepare a packing slip (you can fill our sample submission form to serve as a packing slip).
6. Ship by express mail
7. International customers: Include the following documents
a. Phytosanitary certificate
This table can serve as a guide to estimate number of seeds to be shipped. This estimate is based on average seed size. If you have a small-seeded or big-seeded variety, you will need to make an adjustment.
